Hi, I'm Tawny.
My background includes teaching, academic coaching, and caregiving, with years of experience supporting students in both traditional and home-based learning environments. I’ve worked with a wide range of learners, including neurodivergent students, and I also bring personal experience supporting a child with special needs.

My philosophy
I believe learning works best when kids feel safe, understood, and supported.
Before anything else, I focus on building a connection. If a child doesn’t feel comfortable, they’re not going to learn, and that relationship always comes first.
I take a calm, supportive approach rather than focusing on heavy lessons, constant assessments, or pressure. Instead, I meet each child where they are and help learning feel manageable, encouraging, and even enjoyable.
I work with children of all learning styles and abilities, including neurodivergent learners, and take the time to understand how each child thinks and learns best.
My goal is to support not just the student, but the whole family—helping create a more positive, less stressful learning experience.
At the end of the day, success isn’t just about grades; it’s about confidence.
It’s about a child feeling like, “I can do this.”
